Trust is critical for sales success. Yet far too often in marketing travel advisors are breaking that trust.
Recently I've been hit up on LinkedIn dozens of times and the majority them start with "This isn't a pitch" and then proceed into a pitch. From that moment on the hurdle to overcome that first violation of trust is that much more difficult.
If you've ever been tempted to say somthing like "come join us for this event, no sale pitch involved" as your invite to a consumer event... stop - listen and rethink your marketing.
